Do I need to reserve a corporate name?
Yes, Alabama domestic corporations are required to reserve their corporate name prior to incorporating.
How do I reserve a corporate name?
The reservation of your corporate name will be handled by IncParadise and is included in the price of our service.
Do I have to renew my name registration?
Yes, all name registrations expire on December 31. You should renew your name between October 1 and December 31.
How do I incorporate in Alabama?
When using our service, IncParadise will file, on your behalf, the original and two copies of the Articles of Incorporation and the Certificate of Name Reservation in the county where your corporation's registered office will be located.
Is a registered agent required?
Yes. The registered agent must live in Alabama whose business office is the same as the registered office or (2) a corporation whose business office is the same of the registered office. As part of our ongoing service, IncParadise does provide a registered agent service option that you can select during the online registration process.
How many Incorporators are required to form an Alabama corporation?
One or more are required.
How many Directors are required for an Alabama corporation?
One or more are required.
Are corporations in Alabama required to file an Annual Report?
Yes, an annual report is filed annually between January 1 and March 15 starting in the first calendar year after incorporation.
